The 50 Best Comic Book Covers of 2009

Our esteemed panel of expert judges (see them below!) combed through every comic book from 2009 to find the best, brightest, and most badass covers. They couldn't look at everything, though, so we left out indie titles, manga books, and collected editions. (Relax; we know there's more to comic books than superheroes, it's just a methodological choice.) Anyway, they voted, we tallied, and now here we are. Get to flippin'.
